BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
By Bus:
NJTransit provides bus service to Lincoln Harbor from other points in New Jersey and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan (Bus #158). Lincoln Harbor is also a stop on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail. By Ferry:
NY WATERWAY provides ferry service from Manhattan to two stops in Weehawken.
The closest ferry stop is Lincoln Harbor which only runs on weekdays. You must specify Lincoln Harbor when buying your ticket. Please note that tickets can only be purchased on the New York side since there is no ticket kiosk at Lincoln Harbor.
The main ferry terminal in Weehawken, Port Imperial, operates seven days a week but this terminal is about one mile north of Lincoln Harbor Park. So you will need to take a taxi or NJ Transit bus to the park.

BY CAR (free parking is available)
Please note that Lincoln Harbor Park does not have a precise address. If using any of the online maps, you should use the address of Waterfront Terrace and Harbor Boulevard in Weehawken.
Alternatively, use 1500 Harbor Boulevard which is a white office building on a pier. The park is north of that by about 800 feet.
Note that there is a lot of construction in the area so allow a bit of extra time. FROM NEW JERSEY
From Hoboken and points south:
Take Park Avenue in Hoboken towards Weehawken and go over the Park Avenue Bridge which separates Hoboken from Weehawken. Immediately over the bridge, make a right onto 19th Street at which point you enter the Lincoln Harbor complex (Dykes Lumber on your right). Continue on this road going over the light rail tracks. At the Sheraton Hotel, follow the road as it turns to the left. Continue past the marina and, at this point, you will notice construction and a sign that says to proceed only for access to the Chart House. The park is ahead to the right just past the Chart House pier. Parking is permitted next to the park.
From
the North (Fort Lee, Edgewater):
Get to River Road and go south through Edgewater, North Bergen, West New York, and then you will come to Weehawken.
Once in Weehawken, you will note these landmarks on your left side as you go further South.
- NY Waterway Ferry terminal with its huge parking lot.
- A couple of residential buildings
- Town Homes.
- The Weehawken Township Waterfront Park.
Then you will come to a stop sign at Baldwin Avenue (lots of construction). Continue past the stop sign and you will see a huge construction site
on your left. Take your first left turn immediately after the construction site and continue for a few hundred feet until you come to a stop sign.
Make a left and you will see a sign saying that the road is closed except for traffic to the Chart House. Pass through this and you will see the park straight
ahead on your right. Parking is permitted next to the park.
From
the NJ Turnpike, Exit 16 E towards the Lincoln Tunnel:
Merge onto 495 east as if you will be going into Manhattan by the Lincoln Tunnel. Take the last exit before the tunnel and
continue down the ramp past the light (staying to your right). Get into the right lane and follow it as it turns to the right at the bottom of
the hill. Get into your left lane and make a left at the first light (Baldwin Avenue) At the stop sign, bear to the right and continue past the
construction site on your left. Take your first left turn immediately after the construction site and continue for a few hundred feet until you
come to a stop sign. Make a left and you will see a sign saying that the road is closed except for traffic to the Chart House. Pass through this
and you will see the park straight ahead on your right. Parking is permitted next to the park.
FROM MANHATTAN
From the Lincoln Tunnel:
As soon as you get out of the Lincoln Tunnel, take the immediate exit - either on the left or the right, to Hoboken/Weehawken. Do not go up and around the helix.
Note: If you take the exit to the left, you will come to a stop sign. Be careful crossing as it's a bit tricky. If you take the exit on the right, you
just merge onto the road.
Pass the first light and make a left at the next light onto 19th Street. (there is an Exxon station across the street to the left). Cross through the next intersection at which point you enter the Lincoln Harbor complex (Dykes Lumber on your right). Continue on this road going over the light rail tracks. From the George Washington
Bridge:
Take the upper level of the GWB (stay out of the far right lane as that will lead you to the Palisades Parkway).
Once off the bridge, look for the exit for Fort Lee on the right and then for Hudson Terrace. Take the Hudson Terrace exit and it will loop
around 180 degrees. Continue until you can't go any further and make a right onto River Road. You are now in Fort Lee. Continue south with the
Hudson River on your left through the towns of Edgewater, North Bergen, West New York, and then you will come to Weehawken.
Once in Weehawken, you will note these landmarks on your left side as you go further South.
